Interests

Outside of work, I recharge in nature — long forest walks are a weekend ritual that keeps my mind sharp. I'm drawn to sci-fi, fantasy, and history in both film and television; shows like Person of Interest, Breaking Bad, and House M.D. — stories built on systems, patterns, and human complexity, not unlike the problems I enjoy solving every day.

In the kitchen, I cook every meal myself — always Turkish cuisine at the core, but never without my own twist. I treat recipes the way I treat code: something to understand deeply, then make your own.

I'm a firm believer in intuition shaped by experience. I don't just follow the map — I read the terrain. History and biography are my go-to reads; there's no better teacher than someone who has already navigated the hard problems.

And right now, nothing excites me more than the intersection of AI and automation — because the future of back-end development isn't just about writing better code, it's about building systems that think.
